2-year old boy injured in road traffic accident

A 2-year old boy has been injured in a car accident after being struck by a vehicle in Clacton-on-Sea, Essex.

It is understood that the child (who has not yet been named) was struck by a vehicle being driven by an elderly gentlemen in Wellesley Road on 22nd August 2011.

It is unknown how serious the boys injuries are and police are appealing for witnesses.
